Happy Hump Day!

It's the middle of the week and it's go time! What do you do to energize yourself? Do you exercise at a gym? Do you jog or walk outside? Do you meditate? Sing? Clean? Organize? Eat healthy? Play with your pets?

I am a strong believer in healthy eating and exercising.  I literally just started exercising at the gym 5 days a week since January 1, 2016. I had never even stepped inside a gym before! How weird is that? But I've learned how awesome it is for me physically, emotionally and mentally. I have depression, and have never taken medication for it, but exercising is what has pulled me out of it. The feeling of accomplishing something, seeing actual results, and being around positive people has lifted me up and has put my depression away. I'm so proud of myself for doing what I need to do for me...to make ME feel better and be a better human. I feel great and energized each day.

Meditation is also a great way to center yourself and breathe. I burn incense every time I meditate, journal or create art. I feel as if the scent opens my mind and soul and the creativity just flows out of me. I have my routines/rituals.

What do you do to be healthy in mind, body and spirit?

  1. I just ate some chocolate, does that count? Hee hee. But yes, exercising is SO POWERFUL! I've been a little off my game lately with the pregnancy...but when I'm "in it"...I feel unstoppable. Love you girlfriend. Keep writing, Keep moving. xoxo

  2. Thank you Jen! Yes, chocolate is always involved at some point :) It's ok to feel "off your game," you have a lot going on, and resting whenever you get a free moment is probably good for you right now. Take care of yourself, baby boy and the girlies. Love you xo
